Troubleshoot and repair equipment
Condition reporting
Verifying components due to CAT reusability guidelines
Operation bench testing pieces
Operation of engine dynos
Interface with customers product and sales support
Working with supervisors on various tasks
Equipment and facility continuous improvements
Maintain Finning Customer Service Commitment
Various related duties as required
Qualifications:
Journeyperson Certification (Heavy Equipment Truck and Transport Agriculture Automotive)
Apprentices will be considered based on experience
Dedication to safety
Strong interpersonal and communications skills both written and verbal
Understanding of the Caterpillar product line will be considered an asset
Engine and/or component rebuilding experience would be considered an asset
Transmission or Hydraulic testing would be considered an asset
Previous gas engine and power generation experience would be considered an asset
Experience with SIS (Service Information System) ET and warranty systems considered assets
Important Details:
This position is based in our Regina shop on a 4x3 compressed AFTERNOON (3 PM - 1 AM) shift
A condition of employment is the ability to be fit tested and the ability to wear a respirator
