The Department of Data Science requires a sessional instructor to teach a variety of courses in the Cybersecurity program. These courses may include areas such as foundational computing studies Python programming cybersecurity fundamentals ethical hacking database basics operating systems security Linux and Windows basics networking virtualization infrastructure design and integrated security practices.
Duties include delivering lectures labs and seminars as well as marking assignments quizzes tests and examinations. The course is already developed and has been offered on a regular basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating student learning through classroom instruction laboratory activities and practical exercises focused on Python programming and cybersecurity applications. The ability to teach in this area and contribute to student success in an applied learning environment will be considered an asset.
Other courses may be assigned depending on departmental needs and the qualifications and expertise of the candidate.
