Managing Partner (Franchise Opportunity) - BIG St Thomas

Billyard Insurance Group is coming to St. Thomas, and we're looking for the right person to lead it. From the shops along Talbot Street to the families settling into the new subdivisions on the city's north and east sides, people here are loyal to businesses that show up for them. They buy homes here, work the line at the new PowerCo gigafactory or one of the city's established manufacturers, and commute into London every day, and they want an insurance broker who actually knows them. That's exactly what BIG St. Thomas will be.

As the Managing Partner of BIG St. Thomas, you won't just be opening an office, you'll be becoming part of the fabric of Elgin County's largest city. You'll serve the families enjoying Pinafore Park and the trails around Pinafore Lake, support the tradespeople and workers building out Canada's largest EV battery plant, and build the kind of client relationships that St. Thomas people are known for valuing. In a market anchored by the $7-billion Volkswagen PowerCo gigafactory now under construction, a proud identity as Canada's Railway City, and a population poised for rapid growth over the next decade, the opportunity is real and it's ready.

What does a BIG Managing Partner do?

You're the owner-operator of your branch. You lead your team, grow your book, and build something that's genuinely yours, with the full infrastructure of a national brokerage behind you.

• Have a proven track record in insurance sales or brokerage leadership

Qualifications

• Active RIBO license in good standing (or willing to convert your OTL)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in insurance sales
• Demonstrated ability to generate new business and build lasting client relationships

Preferred

• CAIB, CIP, or CRM designation
• LLQP License in good standing
• Experience managing or mentoring brokers
• Experience in commercial lines
