Role Overview

As the Senior Financial Analyst, Corporate FP&A - Capital Management, you will play a critical role in building and scaling our global capital management function. This is a high‑impact role focused on developing the processes, tools, and governance that support capital planning, investment decisions, and performance tracking across the business.

You will act as a strategic partner to Finance, Regional teams, and Business Leaders, helping drive transparency, accountability, and optimized capital allocation across Arc’teryx. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys building from the ground up, and wants to influence how capital is deployed in a fast‑growing global organization.

This role is based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid remote work. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.

Team

The Corporate FP&A team provides leadership, clarity, and direction on financial planning, forecasting, and reporting across Arc’teryx. Within this team, Capital Management is an evolving strategic capability focused on ensuring disciplined investment, strong governance, and clear insight into capital investment.

You will work closely with FP&A, Accounting, Systems, and business stakeholders globally to build scalable solutions and elevate capital planning maturity.

Responsibilities

  • Capital Planning & Governance:
    • Partnering with business and regional teams to support capital budgeting and forecasting cycles, including the global consolidation of capital forecasts.
    • Developing and maintaining planning templates, methodologies, and timelines.
  • Capital Reporting & Insights:
    • Building and maintaining capital reporting frameworks and improving forecast accuracy through variance analysis and actionable insights.
    • Delivering monthly and quarterly reporting on capital spend, project performance, and key variances, and supporting executive reporting on capital investments.
    • Partnering with Arc’teryx Accounting and Amer Global Accounting/Finance team to understand monthly actuals vs plan.
    • Supporting the build‑out of system Capital Reporting in OneStream.
    • Developing financial models and dashboards to support capital planning and reporting.
    • Supporting business partners and functions in establishing controls and processes related to capital spending.
    • Driving initiatives that increase stakeholder ownership and accountability for operational spending.
    • Owning and maintaining depreciation models, ensuring alignment with financial forecasts and accounting requirements.
    • Continuously identifying opportunities to improve FP&A and capital management processes.
    • Supporting the broader Corporate FP&A In‑Year Planning team, including quarterly forecast and annual budget cycles, and creation of processes.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years proven experience in Financial Planning and Analysis, with capital experience an asset.
  • A bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting or equivalent and, ideally, a CPA, CMA, CA, CFA.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to coordinate and lead projects to completion.
  • Experience with capital planning, reporting and consolidation.
  • Advanced financial modeling skills, including experience with depreciation and investment analysis.
  • Advanced analytical skills with strong aptitude for MS Excel and experience with OneStream or Oracle ERP.
  • Experience in project management and can prioritize and manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate with individuals across departments, organizations, and countries.
  • Proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions.
  • Highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity.
  • Can balance autonomy and collaboration.
  • Inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement.
  • Seek the best (but sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment.
  • Passion for work and for getting outside and living it.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation: salary range CAD$94,000 - CAD$123,000. The range reflects market alignment and scope of the role. Individual pay is determined by your skills, experience, and level of responsibility.

Benefits:

  • Health & wellbeing – Extended health, dental, and vision coverage, including mental health support, fertility benefits, gender‑affirming care and a 24/7 Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
  • Financial wellbeing – RRSP matching and eligibility for Arc’teryx Annual Incentive Plan and Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP) where applicable.
  • Time & flexibility – Paid time off, wellness time, and No Wasted Day program (dedicated paid days to get outside & explore).
  • Family support – Parental leave top‑up and a nesting period for new parents.
  • Growth, community & gear – Professional development opportunities, Arc’teryx Academies (outdoor skill‑building events), Employee Belonging Councils, and access to employee discounts and Pro Deals.

*Eligibility for certain programs may vary by role.
