Remote Intermediate/Senior Business Analyst( P&C Insurance, 1yr contract, 95% Remote)

We are seeking a dynamic Business Analyst who is passionate about driving meaningful business outcomes and continuous improvement. As a member of the IT project team, the Business Analyst will partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities to enhance processes, products, services, and software solutions through thoughtful analysis, collaboration, and data -driven insights.<\/span>

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/span>

• Elicit and refine business requirements using the most effective approach based on audience, scope, and project complexity<\/span>
<\/div>• Lead medium to large -scale strategic projects in partnership with the Product Owner and Project Manager<\/span>
<\/div>• Develop current and future -state workflows to identify opportunities for automation, operational efficiency, and process improvement<\/span>
<\/div>• Evaluate and anticipate project risks and future impacts of requirements<\/span>
<\/div>• Adapt quickly to shifting priorities, project needs, and business conditions<\/span>
<\/div>• Facilitate meetings and presentations to communicate ideas, findings, and recommendations effectively<\/span>
<\/div>• Develop solutions through a combination of system configuration changes, process and workflow development, end -user training, communication, and change management<\/span>
<\/div>• Coordinate with multiple teams and build strategic relationships to ensure the best solution and business outcomes<\/span>
<\/div>• Identify and recommend process and design improvements to existing applications, procedures, and workflows<\/span>
<\/div>• Work with QA teams to help define test strategies and identify relevant use cases<\/span>

Requirements<\/h3>• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience; CBAP certification is an asset<\/span>
<\/div>

<\/p>

• 4+ years of Business Analysis experience, preferably within the P&C insurance industry with a focus on Financial and Commercial insurance projects<\/span>
<\/div>• Superior analytical thinking and exceptional attention to detail<\/span>
<\/div>• Excellent time management and estimation skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver across concurrent initiatives<\/span>
<\/div>• Experience preparing Business Specifications, Functional Specifications, Workflow Diagrams, Gap Analysis, Business Cases, and POI Analysis documentation<\/span>
<\/div>• Strong knowledge of Visio, Agile methodologies, SDLC, and Business Analysis concepts<\/span>
<\/div>• Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new technologies, procedures, and AI -enabled tools<\/span>
<\/div>• Excellent written and verbal communication skills<\/span>
<\/div>• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with experience working across all levels of an organization and across disciplines<\/span>
<\/div>• Proven leadership, decision -making, and ownership of outcomes<\/span>
<\/div>• Self -directed professional with the ability to work independently and drive work forward with minimal oversight<\/span>
