ConeTec isseekingan analytical curious and technology-driven Junior FP&A & Data Analyst to join our growing Finance team.This role is ideal for an early-career professional passionate about finance data and emerging technologies.Youllwork across financial planning business analytics reporting automation Power BI and AI-enabled finance processes turning financial and operational data into actionable insights that support business decisions.Youllalso gain exposure to senior leadership global operations and cross-functional projects while buildinga strong foundationfor a career in FP&A Finance and Business Analytics.

ROLES RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS

Financial Planning & Business Performance

• Support the annual budget quarterly forecasts and long-range planning processes.
• Assistin analyzing financial results and business performance across multiple entities and business units.
• Prepare variance analysis comparing actual results to budget forecast and prior year performance.
• Monitor key business drivers operational metrics and financial KPIs.
• Support cash flow forecasting profitability analysis and working capital reviews.
• Analyze financial results and business performance across multiple entities and business units with guidance from the FP&A team.

Data Analytics & Business Intelligence

• Develop andmaintainPower BI dashboards and performance reporting tools.
• Transform large volumes of financial and operational data into meaningful business insights.
• Identifytrends risks opportunities and performance drivers through data analysis.
• Support the development of automated reporting solutions that reduce manual effort and improve accuracy.
• Work with finance and operational teams to improve data quality consistency and accessibility.

AI & Finance Transformation

• Explore and implement practical uses of Artificial Intelligence within Finance and FP&A processes.
• Leverage Microsoft Copilot Power BI AI capabilities and other digital tools to improve productivity and decision-making.
• Assistin developing automated analysis reporting forecasting and financial insight generation.
• Contribute to finance transformation initiatives focused on automation standardization and continuous improvement.
• Stay informed on emerging technologies and proactivelyidentifyopportunities to enhance finance processes.

Reporting Insights & Decision Support

• Prepare monthly quarterly and annual management reporting packages.
• Support executive presentations and business review materials.
• Deliver concise analyses and recommendations to support management decision-making.
• Partner with finance and operational stakeholders to understand business challenges and support strategic initiatives.
• Assistwith ad hoc analysis and special projects across the organization.

SKILLS QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Education Requirements

• Bachelors degree inFinance Accounting EconomicsData Analytics Business AdministrationStatisticsor related field.
• Working toward a CPA CFA or other relevant professional designation is considered an asset.

Experience Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in FP&A finance accounting business analytics data analysis or a related field.
• Experience working with financial data and reporting is preferred.
• Exposure to budgeting forecasting business analysis or performance management is considered an asset.
• Experience using Power BI Tableau or similar analytics platforms is beneficial.
• Demonstrated interest in AI automation or data-driven decision-making is highly desirable.
  

Technical Requirements

• Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical and quantitative abilities.
• Understanding of financial statements and strong attention to detail.
• Experience with Power BI Power Query and Power Automate is considered an asset.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g. Dynamics SAP Oracle NetSuite) is an asset.
• PreferredExperience using AI tools (e.g. Microsoft Copilot ChatGPT Claude Gemini) is an asset.
