The Student Enrolment and Registrar Services (SEARS) Office is hiring two casual enthusiastic Student Information Clerks to join our team. If you enjoy helping people, solving problems, and being the person others turn to for answers, this could be the perfect role for you.
As the front door to student services at the University of Lethbridge, the SEARS Office helps students navigate everything from applying to university all the way to crossing the stage at convocation. Every day is different, and every interaction is an opportunity to help someone succeed.
What You’ll Do
As a Student Information Clerk, you’ll be part of a friendly and supportive team that helps students, staff, faculty, and community members find the information and support they need. You will:
- Welcome and assist students and visitors in person, by phone, and by email
- Answer questions about admissions, registration, timetables, dates and deadlines
- Help students navigate challenges and connect them with the right resources
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
- Operate a multi-line phone system
- Support other areas within the SEARS Office as needed
- Take on additional projects and responsibilities that contribute to a positive student experience

Additional Details about the position:
- Hourly Rate: $28.83/hour
- Approximately 10 hours per week
- Approximately September 1 – April 30
Position Qualifications Eligibility Requirements
- Must be a domestic, undergraduate student (Canadian citizen or permanent resident);
- Must be in Academic Good Standing;
- Must be a University of Lethbridge student and have Full-Time status (at least 3 courses – 9 credits);
- Must demonstrate financial need by competing ‘financial need’ section on the Scholarship & Student Awards application.
