Job description
Jim Pattison Toyota Victoria is seeking an energetic reliable and organized Valet Attendant to be the pillar of support for our dealership. As a supporting role within our Service department youll play a key part in ensuring our vehicles are well presented to our take pride in delivering an excellent experience being detail oriented and ensuring every interaction reflects our strong commitment to our customers. The regular schedule will vary based on dealership operational requirements and may include Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday Range: $19.00 to $21.00 hourly depending on experienceThis role reports to the Fixed Operations Manager of the dealership.A Day in the LifeGreet customers in a professional and friendly manner and assist with vehicle drop-off and pick-up in the service driveSafely move park and retrieve customer and inventory vehicles as needed within the dealership and service areasEnsure vehicles are properly staged for service appointments and returned to customers in a timely and organized mannerMaintain cleanliness and orderliness of the service drive parking areas and dealership lotConduct basic vehicle checks (e.g. noting obvious damage or concerns) and report issues promptly to service staffAssist with coordinating vehicle flow in and out of the service department to ensure smooth operationsSafely operate both automatic and manual transmission vehiclesFollow all safety procedures when operating vehicles and working in high-traffic areasMaintain confidentiality of customer and company information at all timesSupport the service and sales teams as needed to ensure a positive customer experiencePerform other duties as assignedWhat Were Looking ForA valid BC Drivers license is required including a satisfactory Drivers Abstract reportPrevious experience in the automotive industry is considered a strong assetAbility to operate both automatic and manual transmissions is preferredStrong customer-service skills with a friendly approachable attitudeDetail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilitiesReliable punctual and dependableThis is a physically active role and requires the following: Frequent walking throughout the dealership service drive and parking areasExtended periods of standing and moving throughout the dayRegular operation of vehicles including driving parking and retrieving customer carsWorking outdoors in varying weather conditions including sun rain wind snow cold and heat (safety conditions are monitored as needed)Occasional lifting or moving of light items as requiredWhat We OfferCompetitive wagesComprehensive benefits package including health dental and insuranceUnlimited opportunities for advancement growth and development Access to exclusive corporate discount programsRecognition and rewards programsA strong team atmosphere and a positive supportive working environmentHow to ApplyIf this sounds like a great fit please apply with your resume today!Visit our Careers Page to explore more opportunities: This role requires successful candidates to submit a satisfactory Drivers Abstract from thank all applicants for their interest; however only those selected for interviews will be are an equal opportunity employer and are committed to creating an inclusive and accessible workplace.
