Job description
Campus Nissan Victoria has an exciting opportunity for a Level 3/4 Apprentice or Certified Red Seal Service Technician to join our this role you will play a key part in supporting our Service Department by accurately diagnosing repairing and maintaining vehicles to the highest standards of safety performance and Nissan Technician you take pride in delivering quality workmanship and contributing to an exceptional customer experience that reflects our strong commitment to customer : This is a full-time permanent position of 40 hours per week. Candidates must be flexible to work either Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday Range: $25.75 to $43.15 hourly depending on certification and level of role reports to the Fixed Operations Manager of the dealership.A Day in the LifeDiagnose repair and maintain vehicles in accordance with manufacturer and dealership standardsPerform thorough vehicle inspections with accurate documentation and measurementsIdentify mechanical and electrical issues recommend solutions and communicate findings clearly to Service teamPartner with Service Advisors to provide updates on repair timelines or recommend additional safety workConduct road tests and pre-delivery inspections on new inventory to ensure every vehicle leaving the shop is in top conditionCoordinate with the Parts Department to source what you need and manage warranty labelingAssist fellow technicians when needed to maintain overall shop productivityMaintain a clean safe and organized work environment at all timesFollow all company policies procedures and safety standardsEnsure a high degree of confidentiality with company and customer informationParticipate in maintaining a supportive and engaging working environmentWhat Were Looking ForLevel 3/4 Apprentice Technician or Red Seal Certification or currently in the process of challenging itEV (Electric Vehicle) Certification and/or Vehicle Inspection Certification are considered experience as an automotive technician is requiredA valid BC Drivers license is required including a satisfactory Drivers Abstract is requiredAble to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehiclesStrong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with a keen attention to detailDetail oriented with the ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilitiesAbility to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a teamReliable punctual and dependableAbility to work the physical requirements of a service technician role Ability to regularly lift up to 60 poundsAbility to stand for extended periods of timeHigh level of mobility dexterity endurance and sensory awarenessAbility to work in an automotive shop environment Indoor automotive shop with multiple service baysExposure to noise (engines air tools) fumes (exhaust solvents) and dustWork performed around moving vehicles hoists and heavy equipmentTemperature can vary (shops may be cooler in winter warmer in summer despite heating/ventilation)What We OfferCompetitive wagesComprehensive benefits package including health dental and insuranceUnlimited opportunities for advancement growth and developmentManufacturer led training opportunitiesAccess to exclusive corporate discount programsRecognition and rewards programsA great team atmosphere and a positive supportive working environmentHow to ApplyIf this sounds like a great fit please apply with your resume today!Visit our Careers Page to explore more opportunities: role requires successful candidates to submit a satisfactory Drivers thank all applicants for their interest; however only those selected for interviews will be are an equal opportunity employer and are committed to creating an inclusive and accessible workplace.
