To determine final salary Babcock considers a variety of factors including the successful Candidates skills and experience and internal equity. The final base salary offer is at the Companys sole discretion and presented as part of a competitive total compensation package.

Description

In this role you will:

Assist project managers with the development preparation and management of detailed project plans to ensure that assigned projects are delivered as per the agreed scope on time and within budget while ensuring quality minimizing risk and maximizing the projects success
Track and report on project schedules and budgets then support project managers with implementing corrective measures if required
Participate in and assist with administration of project customer and sub-contractor meetings
Support in the administration of subcontracts and subcontractors
Manage the project SharePoint site to facilitate communications and data availability
Coordinate onsite visitors including support to health & safety requirements
Develop manage and release project communications and formal reporting to the client
Assist in the management of key improvement initiatives
Coordinate project collaboration including tracking and following up on timelines and deliverables progress reports and action items
Provide support for Risk Analysis Lessons from Experience and Key Enabler initiatives
Perform other duties as reasonably assigned to support business needs

The ideal candidate brings:

1-3 years experience working in administration preferably in an Engineering or Marine environment
Experience in Primavera and/or Microsoft Project
Experience in Microsoft Office applications including strong Excel skills
Strong interpersonal and excellent communication skills with the ability to collate and present information at appropriate levels
Ability to react quickly when necessary to meet challenging objectives.
Solid organizational skills
Ability to work as part of a team or individually
A working knowledge with progressing/work package database etc. (Project Estimating and Planning System (PEPS) is desirable
Eligibility for a Canadian Secret Security and ITAR Clearance
