What youll do:
Youll be based out of our Leduc AB Service Center
Youll have an opportunity to work overtime and weekends and there is a potential for travel
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators diesel engines electrical distribution equipment HVAC equipment and/or oil free air compressors
Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and on customer locations and handle the repairs
You will either be out on your own or teamed up with other technician(s) to set up and operate equipment at the shop and on customer sites
You are:
High School diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
1-5 years of experience working on commercial HVAC equipment performing inspections maintenance and repairs. 3rd or 4th period apprentices are encouraged to apply
1-5 years of experience working on diesel natural gas or propane heating equipment performing inspections maintenance and repairs
Experience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements along with reading and knowing schematics
Willingness to learn power generation basics and basic mechanical servicing will be highly regarded
Valid drivers license
Ability to move or lift objects typically less than 50lbs.
