What Youll Be Doing

As a member of the Personal and Business Banking Team youll manage and grow a complex client portfolio through self-sourced leads provide dedicated relationship management in-depth financial advice and exceptional client service. As a Senior Financial Planner youll expertly deliver on CIBCs Imperial Service approach taking responsibility for a large portfolio and helping clients plan for todays needs and tomorrows goals. Youll mentor a team of advisors to problem solve and provide comprehensive financial advice helping clients to secure their futures own homes and set up businesses.

Youre flexible to work our banking centre hours which may include evenings and weekends. To help deliver a great client experience youre flexible to work at multiple banking centres within a reasonable travel distance.

How Youll Succeed

• Client engagement - Focus on each client experience and connect on a personal level to make every interaction meaningful. Enhance relationships by delivering trusted investment advice and creating complex financial plans. Cultivate your network to establish new client relationships.

• Business expertise Become an expert in local market trends and potential client bases create a comprehensive sales plan that will convert leads into new clients. Use your strong relationship building and networking skills to create connections generate opportunities and deliver bottom line results. Leverage your experience in investment estate retirement tax planning and credit planning to provide a comprehensive and personalized plan that will result in satisfied loyal clients and increased referrals.

• Leading and mentoring As a seasoned financial professional provide coaching and support to a team of advisors. Work as one team and support the team as they make informed choices that benefit both the client and CIBC.

• You have a postsecondary degree/diploma and/or 4 years of relevant experience.

• You are a certified professional (CIRO-ID). You have current accreditation and good standing as a Registered Representative (RR) with Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization - Investment Dealer (CIRO-ID). CFP upon hire.

• Youre a certified professional (CIRO-MFD). You have current accreditation and good standing in CIRO-MFD licensing CFP upon hire.

• Youre a certified professional (Quebec). You have current accreditation and good standing in AMF licensing; Successful completion of Canadian Investment Funds Course (CIFC) or the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) to support AMF (Autorité des Marchés Financiers) licensing and Registered Retirement Consultant (RRC). Its an asset if youve completed CSI/ICB Investment and Taxation Fundamentals Course - Quebec (0774) and CSI/ICB Legal & Ethical Aspects of Financial Planning Course (0790).
