Hourly rate is dependent on experience. Health benefits, pension plan, RRSP matching, vacation pay offered.Job Description:Handle and distribute construction materials (e.g. load and unload vehicles with supplies, equipment and construction materials; move tools, equipment and construction materials to and from work areas.Work on a wide variety of buildings, structures and premises including municipal sewer and water mains, roads, dams and bridges, tunnels, railways and canals.Assist the water & sewer crew as needed.Remove rubble and other debris.Prepare and clean up construction sites, move materials and equipment, and perform demolition, excavation and compaction activities. Assemble and dismantle scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades at construction sites.Experience and Certification Requirements:1 to 2 years of industrial or civil construction or equivalent experience required.CSTS 2020, WHMIS 2015, and Ground Disturbance 201 are required.You have experience in using compactors, and trampers. (jumping jack) You are able to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) 9-23 Kg. You have a safety conscious attitude and able to work with others in a team.A reliable means of transportation is required.Proficient English language skills required.Education: Completion of high school or equivalent is required.Go ahead and be yourself.
