About the Role
The Business Relationship Manager (BRM) will become the main contact for the SFU Stephens Family School of Medicine to enhance the strategic partnership with IT Services and the strategic roadmap to achieve business objectives. This is a temporary part-time position with the requirement to work from both the Surrey campus and the Burnaby campus.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Computing Science; post-secondary credentials in software systems, with a professional designation (e.g. BRMP) and eight years of related IT experience including the provision of software services in a variety of IT domains, including five years' experience in at least two of: IT business relationship management, IT project management; application management; software system development and management; and business analysis; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent interpersonal, and communication skills (e.g., verbal, written, and presentation).
- Excellent facilitation, negotiation, conflict resolution, leadership and team building skills.
- Ability to align strategic planning and alignment of IT strategies with business goals.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Ability to work collaboratively with others, with competing interests, and with divergent groups to bring about positive change.
