Transportation Supervisor

Location: Brampton ON

Shift: 6AM - 3PM flexibility required

The Transportation Supervisor is a front-line people leader responsible for the day-to-day execution of transportation operations across the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area. This role ensures safe compliant and efficient delivery performance by coordinating routes managing drivers and supporting reliable service execution in a fast-paced regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily transportation operations to deliver on-time safe and efficient service
• Supervise coach and develop drivers and transportation associates
• Manage routing scheduling and staffing to meet service demands
• Ensure compliance with safety regulatory and company standards
• Monitor KPIs and resolve issues to improve delivery performance
• Partner with DC operations customer service and carriers to support execution
• Support cost control through resource planning and operational discipline
• Maintain accurate records reporting and transportation documentation

Qualifications

• 35 years of experience in transportation logistics or distribution
• 13 years of supervisory or team leadership experience
• Experience in a DC fleet or route-based delivery environment
• Strong communication problem-solving and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with TMS routing or fleet systems
• Knowledge of Canadian transportation and safety regulations
• Experience working with 3PL carriers or private fleet operations
