The Service Technician for Cytiva is responsible installing servicing repairing and performing preventative maintenance on our products.

This position reports to the Manager Service Technicians and is part of the Aseptic Filling Division located in Burnaby BC Canada and will be an on-site role.

What you will do:

• Perform onsite services including installation training maintenance troubleshooting to resolve problems both remotely and onsite debug and commission systems at customer sites with requirement to travel up to 50% of work time

• Represent Cytiva by being an ambassador and demonstrate a high attention to detail in performing work

• Use the service tracking system to provide clear documentation of activities at customer sites. participate in creating and updating service documentation complete standard testing procedures during each machines commissioning phase

Who you are:

• A self-starter with a post-secondary engineering degree diploma certification or equivalent; specializing in electrical mechanical or mechatronics with problem solving skills in the preceding areas able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on accuracy and details applying these to customer communications and writing or improving work instructions

• Experience working directly with customers with discretion

Travel Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

• This position requires up to 50% flying and/or driving travel which may potentially include overnight international stays.

• Ability to regularly lift move slide raise and/or place up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand walk(prolonged) and sit; squat and kneel ascend and descend stairs; reach with hands and arms.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Understanding of robotics control systems and machine operation with hands-on experience is desirable.

• Experience with schematics and design documents.

• Experience working in regulated industries or environments ideally in GAMP.

The salary range for this role is $75000.00 - $80000.00 CAD. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.

We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off medical/dental/vision insurance to eligible employees.
