Job description
Pay: $21.00 (per hour)Car Allowance: $500/monthStorageMart has an immediate opening for a Store Manager to join our team!Are you ready to be a vital part of a thriving sector in retail At StorageMart we pride ourselves on being a key customer touchpoint where every interaction counts. Our core values Easy Clean Service reflect our commitment to making the customer experience seamless providing the cleanest facilities and delivering service that stands a Store Manager you will:Support Store Operations:Collaborate with the Regional Manager to enhance business growth and maximize sales. Follow up on leads (online phone and walk-ins). Provide on-site guidance to staff including assisting tasking and training team Exceptional Customer Service:Engage with customers through phone face-to-face and email interactions ensuring they feel valued and supported while driving strong sales Daily Operations & Administration:Oversee day-to-day operations including collections account management and site administration. Prepare required daily weekly and monthly reports and ensure compliance with company policies and Facility Standards:Open operate and close the site while maintaining a clean safe and secure environment. Ensure overall site presentation and operational standards are consistently Support Responsibilities:Utilize hand and power tools (drills grinders etc.) safely and effectivelyComplete minor repairs to gates doors fences and buildingsPerform preventative maintenance on site infrastructureConduct basic plumbing repairs (e.g. replacing faucets fixing leaks)Complete minor asphalt and concrete patchworkAssist with unit cleanouts including furniture breakdown and debris removalCoordinate external vendors for larger maintenance or repair jobsMaintain and service seasonal equipment (e.g. snow blowers salters)Work outdoors in various weather conditionsWhat Were Looking For:EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredAssociates degree or at least 2 years of college coursework may substitute for part of the required experienceExperienceMinimum of 3 years of relevant experience (management sales customer service maintenance)Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and WordAbility to quickly learn new software systemsSkills & QualificationsStrong communication and problem-solving skillsExcellent organizational and time management abilitiesDetail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficientlyHands-on proactive attitude with willingness to work outdoorsAdditional RequirementsValid drivers license personal vehicle and current auto insuranceBasic computer proficiencyTravel within the Greater London areaWhy Choose StorageMartCompetitive Pay & Benefits$21/hour commission$500/month car allowanceExtended medical benefitsTuition reimbursementPaid Time OffRetirement SupportCompany retirement contributions - up to 12% RSP matchGrowth & RecognitionOpportunities to learn all aspects of the businessMilestone awards company events and Bucketlist recognitionAbout StorageMart:With a presence across the U.K. Canada and the United States StorageMart is one of the largest independent providers of self-storage solutions for businesses and individuals alike.
