Starting Date: Immediate
Deployment: Based on operational requirements

Daily Rate:

• Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP): $700/day
• Primary Care Paramedic (PCP): $450/day
• Full daily rate paid during scheduled deployment days off
• Travel and accommodations provided

Working alongside emergency response partners youll provide essential medical care to evacuees and help ensure safe effective healthcare delivery during emergency operations.

WHAT YOULL DO:

As a Wildfire Response Paramedic youll play a critical role in supporting emergency evacuation operations across the Northwest Territories. Working collaboratively with emergency management teams and healthcare professionals youll provide patient care in dynamic and challenging environments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide emergency medical care to evacuees during wildfire response operations.
• Perform patient assessments treatment and stabilization within your scope of practice.
• Assist with patient transport and continuity of care as required.
• Support medical operations within evacuation centres and other response locations.
• Collaborate with local EMS services nurses physicians firefighters and incident management teams.
• Maintain accurate patient care documentation in accordance with client and organizational requirements.
• Promote a safe professional and collaborative working environment.
• Respond effectively in rapidly changing operational environments.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Current registration as a Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) or Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP) in your home province.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Valid Class 4 Drivers Licence (or equivalent where applicable).
• Ability to deploy on short notice.
