We are looking for RNs and RPNs who desire great flexibility in their schedules.

This is a Full-Time/Part-Time/Casual position in the Owen Sound and surrounding areas.

Hours of work are 8 am - 8 pm within a 2-week rotation inclusive of weekends weekdays and on-call work.

Wages

• For Registered Nurses (RN)- This position offers a competitive compensation grid with progression based on hours worked and role-specific criteria. The RN per general visit range is $ 27.81 to $41.07and the RN hourly range is $32.08 to $47.38. Placement within the grid will be determined in accordance with company policies and procedures as well as the candidates knowledge skills qualifications and relevant experience.
• For Registered Practical Nurses (RPN)- This position offers a competitive compensation grid with progression based on hours worked and role-specific criteria. The RPN per general visit range is $ 23.66 to $29.48and the RPN hourly range is $27.17 to $33.37. Placement within the grid will be determined in accordance with company policies and procedures as well as the candidates knowledge skills qualifications and relevant experience.

What The Role Involves

• Developing and maintaining an effective Care Plan with respect to Community Health Services independently or in cooperation with the Ontario Health atHome.
• Working with patients (both in-person and virtually) to provide exceptional nursing services
• Providing services in a variety of settings which may include in-home clinic retirement home or school
• Communicating and liaising with patients family members and others within the interdisciplinary care team
• Performing other clinical duties as required

What You Bring

• Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) degree or diploma
• Current College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) registration in good standing
• A strong desire and commitment to making a difference in the lives of our patients
• Exceptional interpersonal skills
• A valid drivers license and vehicle as regular travel is required
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
• CPR Certification
• Current immunization record including 2 step TB test
• To protect our patients we require a current vulnerable sector check and a clear background check

Through our Community Nursing Services outreach program weve been organizing staff-led medical care and clinics in countries with poor access to health care since 2009.
