Job description
Elevate safety standards in Rail & Transit as a Safety Assurance Engineer, specializing in risk assessment and compliance across major projects in Canada. We are seeking a seasoned professional to direct safety assurance activities that align with CENELEC standards and CMREA regulations. Your role will involve close collaboration with project teams and regulators to ensure comprehensive safety management across all railway disciplines. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct hazard identification and risk assessments • Lead safety assurance strategy development • Review Safety Plans and related documentation • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations • Engage with multidisciplinary teams for project success Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or equivalent) • P.Eng designation or eligibility for certification • Over 10 years of experience in rail safety assurance • Familiarity with CENELEC and IEC standards • Strong organizational and leadership skills Contribute your expertise to enhance safety outcomes in rail projects across North America. #J-18808-Ljbffr
