Term of Appt: Monday - Friday, 30 hours/weekStart date: August 2026Reporting to: Person Responsible for Training (PRT)Salary:Annual salary ranges between $78,098 to $114,001, with our normal starting salary between $78,098 – 88,536 depending on experience and qualifications. Annual increases will take place with each full year of employment up to the maximum of $114,001, in accordance with the BCGEU Faculty Collective Agreement.Relocation Support: you may qualify for relocation assistance for eligible roles to help you transition smoothly.Vacation entitlement is 240 hours per year (pro-rated from the hire date) to be utilized during the summer months (July and August). The College also provides paid time off during its annual holiday closure from December 25 to January 1. The position includes a comprehensive extended health and dental benefits package, and enrolment in the College Pension Plan is mandatory, with employer-matched contributions.Description:Northern Lights College is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable instructor for the Aircraft Maintenance Technician Program on the Dawson Creek Campus. We are seeking a dynamic individual who is engaged in aviation and has a passion for teaching and sharing experience. The successful candidate will have a learning centered mindset eager for personal growth and the opportunity to excel within a team environment. The AMT Program prepares students for careers in the maintenance, inspection, and repair of aircraft and aircraft systems in accordance with Transport Canada training requirements. Students receive training across a broad range of aircraft types and technologies, including fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft, piston and turbine engines, aircraft structures, electrical systems, avionics fundamentals, hydraulics, fuel systems, and aircraft maintenance practices.
