How Youll Make an Impact

• Report to the director Corporate Communications.
• Work closely with your social counterpart in Marketing to lead strategic planning for AMAs social media ensuring alignment with corporate goals and project-specific objectives.
• Create engaging high-quality content that adheres to AMAs brand voice while keeping up with trends and best practices in the social space.
• Monitor and analyze social media performance providing insights and recommendations to achieve our KPIs.
• Collaborate with Corporate Communications Marketing and Creative Agency to align messaging and coordinate campaigns in support of our overarching content strategy.
• Support brand management by ensuring all social media content is consistent with AMA brand guidelines and has been adapted as necessary to suit different platforms and audiences.
• Support crisis mitigation and reputation management by monitoring online brand sentiment and managing responses to potential escalations.
• Lead social listening with a sense of urgency proactively identifying strategic opportunities to engage with members and Albertans.
  

What You Bring to the Table

• You have a bachelors degree in Communications Marketing Public Relations Digital Media or related field.
• You have at least 6 years experience in social media management that includes work in a corporate environment. If youve led large-scale social campaigns youll have an edge over the competition.
• You have demonstrated success in creating and executing social media strategies across platforms.
• You have advanced knowledge of social media analytics and tools. Bonus points if youre familiar with Hootsuite and Google Analytics.
• Youre familiar with SEO content marketing and digital PR strategies.
