Job description
Position SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated Credit Analyst to join our dynamic team. The Credit Analyst plays a crucial role in assessing the creditworthiness of our customers and managing the overall credit risk for the organization. This position works out of our Admirals location Monday - Friday. The wage range is $24 - $25.50 per ResponsibilitiesPosts customer payments by recording cash checks and credit card receivables by totaling unpaid receivable records by filing invoices debits and customers frequently for payment on outstanding invoicesVerifies validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales trade promotions customer service departments and from customersResolves valid or authorized deductions by entering adjusting invalid or unauthorized deductions by following pending deductions collections by examining customer payment plans payment history credit line; coordinating contact with customer organizations value by keeping information job knowledge by participating in educational accounting and organization mission by completing related results as superior customer service when speaking with the and QualificationsOne year or more experience in an accounts receivable environmentOne year or more experience in collectionsAbility to work under conditions of pressure and adjust to urgent computer and business organization software proficiencyA minimum of 1 year experience working with Excel with Microsoft Navision and problem-solving ability to work in a team interpersonal and communication skillsDetail orientated with disciplined work habits.A positive can-do attitude is Health benefits - including drug coverage practitioner dental vision disability and life savings (pension or other) are - Company discounts (mobile phone etc.) training programs and opportunities for career advancement group events and you feel we are a good fit for your career goals and skillset we invite you to apply and look forward to reviewing your part of the GMS Inc. family of companies you can launch your career with a North American building materials distributor and discover opportunities for growth and value our team members and believe them to be our greatest assets.
