Responsibilities- Perform deep analysis of graphics applications and optimize software components to deliver the best graphics experience on Huawei GPU platforms.
- Contribute to software development at both the product and platform levels.
- Participate in the design, development, and implementation of key software components and algorithms.
- Develop high-quality code for cross-subsystem functionality and graphics-related features.
- Analyze and improve graphics rendering performance across various platforms.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support graphics innovation and product development.
- Research and contribute to emerging technologies in cloud gaming, wireless AR/VR/XR, rendering farms, digital twins, and metaverse applications.
- Support performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization of graphics software solutions.
- Contribute to technical discussions, architecture decisions, and best practices.
Qualifications- Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
- Strong experience with graphics APIs, including Vulkan, OpenGL, OpenGL ES, DX11, and DX12.
- Fluent programming skills in C and C++.
- Strong knowledge of multithreaded programming concepts and development.
- Experience working with graphics rendering pipelines and performance optimization.
- Experience with graphics driver development on Windows, Linux, and/or Android platforms.
- Strong background in computer graphics and computer architecture.
- Experience with GPU virtualization and Multi-GPU rendering is considered an asset.
- Experience contributing to open-source software projects is considered an asset.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
