Check In Coordinator – 6 Month Contract

Location: Delta, British Columbia
Reports to: Operations Supervisor
Job Status: Contract – 6 months
Shifts Available: Monday to Friday – Day shift

Transportation Equipment Network (TEN) is proud North American leader in transportation equipment and solutions. We're full-service and fully loaded with an industry-leading diverse fleet of over 80,000 trailers and a support network of 240 service bays, 118 mobile service trucks, and 430+ skilled mechanics.

This position is responsible for yard activities, including the check-out of trailers with most time spent outside. Act as backup to oversee rental counter and administration wen required to ensure streamlined and customer-focused operations day by day.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Check-in and check-out of all trailers from the facility and oversee the procedures
  • Complete the daily yard checks for the operations team.
  • Prep work on trailers, potential sweep and wash out of trailers to ensure they meet TEN standards
  • Maintain cleanliness of yard including occasional litter pickup
  • When required, data entry of new or closed rentals and all required documentation in Enrich
  • Create cases for chargebacks from inbounds
  • Work closely with the Service Team to ensure trailers requiring repairs are processed
  • Open and close rentals and leases. File after completion
  • Ensure Trailers and resources are available prior to booking appointments
  • Follow up to ensure customers have the right equipment/unit
  • Answer and follow up on all telephone inquiries from customers/sales/operations team regarding trailer inventory and receive order

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of trailer/transportation industry is an asset
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • A team player who takes initiative and a learner attitude
