OverviewThe ToolCrib Attendantis responsible forissuingtools and equipment toemployees,maintainingaccuraterecords of issued tools, andoverseeing inventory levels within thetool crib. The ToolCrib Attendantensurestimelyscheduling of preventative maintenance for all equipment.
Roles & ResponsibilitiesCompiles andmaintainsrecords of quantity, type,and value of material, equipment or supplies stocked.
Count material, equipment, merchandise,or supplies in stock andentersall needed materials into the requisition log.
Ensuresall orders made have a Sage number and is on theBilling of Materials (BOM).
Checksthe BOM for all needed parts for rush orders as well as new projects.
Ensuresall stock ordered is on the BOM.
Entersall paint orders.
Ensuresall gases for welding are appropriately stocked.
Maintains stock ofgasesfor example diesel and propane.
UsestheGigaTraktool tracking program to check tools and materials in and out.
Make requisition of parts, tools,and materials, maintainall records of received parts and materials.
Receives incoming deliveries of partsandmaterialsfrom the receiving department,making sure quantity is correct andrestocksthe shelves.
Perform 5`S and housekeeping.
Repair tools andensurestheyremainin good working condition.
Keepstrack of all tools sent out for repair and maintenance.
Perform all dutiesin accordance withSilent-Aire Limited Partnership safety program standards and Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Act, Regulations and Code.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Supply Chain/Logistics/Inventory systems experience is an asset.
Well-developed computer literacy skills, especiallyExcel,and Sage Accounting software.
Experience in the manufacturing industry is an asset.
Able to communicate both verbally and in writing.
Basic mathematical skills.
Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.
Attention to detail in all areas of work.
Dependable, with good organizational, timemanagementand prioritizing skills.
Strong workethicand positive team attitude.
Manual dexterityrequiredto use desktopcomputerand peripherals.
Overtime asrequired.
Must have the physical ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 35 lbs.
Work is performed in a combination of office and industrial environments.
This position may be exposed to elements such as noise, dust, and odors, as commonly found in a manufacturing setting.
Communication is primarily internal to the assigned work team, the Inventory and Materials Supervisors, and Production and Plant Management.
