Remote Pharmacy Scheduler

MacQuarries Pharmasave Group is 16 stores strong across Mainland Nova Scotia. We are currently looking for a Pharmacy Scheduler to join our growing team. This position can be done remotely with some travel required to our locations.

We are looking for an individual who can effectively coordinate our pharmacy relief schedule. This will be an exciting position for an engaging and highly motivated individual. The candidate must have experience in scheduling and preferably in a pharmacy setting. The successful candidate will be an individual who is not afraid to use innovative methods for effective communication and have great organizational skills to be able to juggle multiple schedules in multiple stores.
Areas of focus for this role will include:

• Coordinate with Pharmacy Managers and Operations Managers to compile and cover open shifts, planned and unplanned
• Communicate with internal and external relief for availability and scheduling as needed
• Communicate via email on a regular basis (at least weekly) to all pharmacists about high priority shifts, and longer-term shifts open
• Run various reports in our HRIS system related to time and attendance
• Coordinate with managers and operations team to review vacation requests for pharmacists based on total capacity of relief coverage for the organization

The wage for this role will be negotiated based on experience.
