Job Summary
We are hiring a Production/Warehouse Associate for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Burlington, ON within a consumer packaged goods manufacturing environment. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with production, warehouse, manufacturing, assembly, or general labour experience who enjoys practical work, steady full-time hours, and contributing to a team-focused operation.
This opportunity offers a supportive plant environment with clear work instructions, safety-focused processes, and positive teamwork across production areas. The Production/Warehouse Associate will support day-to-day manufacturing, material handling, product finishing, and quality inspection activities while building valuable experience in a structured production setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general labour duties in various areas of the production plant as assigned.
- Hand finish ceramic fiber shapes, including sanding, patching, packing, and preparing materials for the next production stage.
- Operate basic production tools and equipment such as planers, manual hoists, waterjet cutters, vacuum forming equipment, and pallet lifters.
- Load and unload drying racks, move materials safely, and stack finished or in-process products on pallets.
- Inspect finished products against drawings and quality specifications to ensure accuracy, consistency, and production quality.
- Support safe, efficient workflow by following work instructions, safety procedures, and plant quality standards.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay rate: $20.00 to $26.40 per hour.
- Annual salary range: $40,000 to $56,000 per year, depending on position available.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. - other shifts also available depending on role.
- Other shifts may be available.
- Benefits available once hired on.
