Forklift Operator

Our client, is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of the manufacturing shop team supporting day-to-day production by safely moving and stacking products. The ideal candidate will bring a strong commitment to workplace safety, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced industrial environment, and clear communication and teamwork to keep operations running smoothly.

Location: Abbotsford, BC
Pay Range: $22-26/hr
Shift: Must be able to work morning, afternoon and evening shift
Temp to Perm

What's the Job?

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport products safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload trucks, ensuring materials are properly secured.
• Move, stack, and organize products in storage areas to support smooth workflow.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on forklifts to help keep equipment in safe working order.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, reporting equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors immediately.

What's Needed?

• Minimum 2 years of experience operating forklifts in an industrial setting.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to forklift operation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in varying weather conditions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with the production team.
