Total Group of Companies is looking for Saskatchewan-based Registered Emergency Medical Responders to support ongoing remote project work. This role is focused on providing industrial medical coverage, supporting worker health and safety, and assisting with emergency preparedness in remote project environments.
The successful candidates will work closely with site supervisors, safety teams, project managers, and Total Group’s internal operations team.
What You’ll Do
Daily tasks and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Provide first aid, emergency medical response, and trauma stabilization as required
Coordinate with evacuation services and site emergency response teams
Monitor worker health and support fit-for-work processes
Conduct wellness checks and support hydration, nutrition, and fatigue management initiatives
Maintain accurate incident, treatment, exposure, and medical documentation
Participate in toolbox talks, hazard assessments, and incident investigations
Work collaboratively with site safety officers, supervisors, project managers, and client representatives
Operate and maintain mobile treatment centres, first aid rooms, or mobile medic units
Support compliance with OHS legislation, CSA standards, and company emergency response protocols

Remote or isolated work locations
Flexible rotations based on project scope and client requirements
Potential extended stays due to weather, site access, or operational needs
Harsh climates, including extreme cold, snow, and limited daylight during winter months
To be considered for this role, candidates must have:
Current Saskatchewan EMR registration
Must be based in Saskatchewan
Valid First Aid certification
Legal authorization to work in Canada and a valid SIN
Valid driver’s license
Willingness to travel as required
Ability to work camp-based rotations
Flexibility for project changes, weather delays, or extended stays
