Description

Our 24/7 Belleville, Ontario manufacturing site is hiring several Plant Technicians across multiple operating departments. This career path starts you off as a Production Line Operator, and it can progress into several different roles over time, such as: Team Leader, Process Leader, Preventive Maintenance Leader, LVQ Technician, QA, and other support roles.

At Belleville, we manufacture most of P&G's Always pads, Liners, and Always Discreet adult incontinence products for global distribution within the overall Feminine Care business unit. Our technicians contribute to site maintenance, equipment ownership, and overall operations capability. Successful employees will break down technical barriers, obtain technical ownership supporting manufacturing projects, and ultimately bring new production capacity to our site. P&G'ers are curious, unafraid to challenge the status quo, and ultimately a team player.

  • Maintain and improve accurate records and data
  • Display strong technical, interpersonal, and analytical skills
  • Operating essential material handling equipment at the site, e.g., clamp truck, forklift, hand trucks, etc.

Technicians must be able to work well individually and as part of a self-directed work team, handling multiple priorities in an ever-changing environment. Strong interpersonal skills and effective written and verbal communication skills are essential. Candidates must also be willing to be trained on forklifts, as operating a forklift (once trained) is required for this position.

Plant Technicians are paid a competitive wage of $26.47/ hour and a $3.20 shift premium.

Other benefits include:

  • 120 paid vacation hours (pro-rated based on hire start date)
