Position Summary

We are seeking a driven and energetic individual to join our growing business in Eastern Ontario as a PART-TIME BARTENDER.  Under the general direction of the Manager, Food and Beverage , this position is responsible for mixing and serving beverages, while establishing a safe and welcoming environment for all employees and guests. Above all else, must be aligned with, and promote, Shorelines Casinos culture and philosophy of creating a great, memorable experience for our guests and colleagues.

Duties and Responsibilities Include :

• Exceeds guest expectations by providing outstanding customer service
• Helps create an engaging work environment by choosing positivity and fun, recognizing excellent peer performance, and by caring about and supporting our colleagues every day
• Informs guests of any daily specials
• Takes guests orders and makes recommendations
• Prepares beverages
• Serves the guests and checks to ensure satisfaction
• Resolves guests issues or asks for management assistance if required
• Presents bills upon request and taking payments
• Cleans tables or counters, removes glasses and re-stocks bar when required
• Covers other bartenders’ sections if required
• Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
• Performs other duties as assigned or directed.
