This opportunity is for a 9-month contract role, is for an existing vacancy, with a range of $50,000-$70,000.
Here’s What You’ll Be Doing :
Provide administrative support to the People & Development (P&D) team and assist employees with inquiries related to HR policies, procedures, and programs.Manage recruitment activities for hourly employees, including job postings, resume screening, phone interviews, and interview scheduling.Coordinate onboarding for hourly employees, including generating offer letters, managing onboarding tasks, and conducting new hire orientations.Support the offboarding process for hourly employees, ensuring all procedures are properly followed.Oversee staffing of hourly temporary workers and manage weekly timesheet submissions and payroll processing.Assist with employee benefits administration by providing support with enrollment, responding to benefit-related inquiries, and coordinating with providers as needed.Research best practices in health and safety and recommend updates or improvements to existing policies and procedures.Plan, coordinate, and assist in executing company social events ensuring smooth logistics and strong participation.Manage ordering and inventory of office and coffee supplies to ensure the workplace is well-stocked and operating efficiently.Supports all food safety initiatives, including (but not limited to) BRCGS, HACCP, GMPs, Allergens, GFCP, Kosher, Halal, Customer Requirements (Such as Costco standards and Kraft Standards).Here’s What You’ll Bring :
1-2 years of experience working in a Human Resources teamA post-secondary degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.Experience with ADP Workforce Now, SharePoint, and Power Automate is an asset.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a friendly personality, enabling you to build and maintain strong relationships.Ability to work with tact, diplomacy, and confidentiality.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.A self-starter with a positive attitude.
