Supply Chain Associate (Permanent)

Victoria, BC

Expected Salary: $51, to $64,

To determine final salary, Babcock considers a variety of factors including the successful Candidate’s skills and experience and internal equity. The final base salary offer is at the Company’s sole discretion and presented as part of a competitive total compensation package.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide support to Procurement & Supply Chain team, including: Scheduling and facilitating meetings, including compiling meeting minutes and recording & tracking actions Managing and maintaining documents as required Producing reports and presentations for governance, progress meetings, etc. as required Develop metrics and manage databases in support of functional delivery objectives Support in the administration of requisitions, purchase orders, and other procurement activities Establish an effective document and records management system (electronic and hard copy filing, archiving) ensuring compliance with Document Control processes Manage SharePoint sites to facilitate communications and data availability Support effective data management, including collating data sets to facilitate reporting Develop, manage, and release communications and formal reporting to the client Assist in the management of key improvement initiatives, including the development of processes and procedures Track and follow up on reports, action items, and deliverables to ensure timely completion Perform other duties as reasonably assigned to support business needs

The ideal candidate brings:

  • A Bachelor’s degree, college diploma, or certificate in Administration, Business Management, Engineering, Accounting, or a related field
  • A minimum of two years of relevant work experience; however, new graduate applications will be considered.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • An attitude that thrives under pressure and your time management and prioritization skills are excellent
  • Excellent organizational and record keeping skills, and demonstrated exceptional attention-to-detail
  • Experience in SharePoint and managing large databases
  • A track record of identifying and implementing administrative solutions to increase efficiencies
  • Demonstrated good judgment and a high level of confidentiality
  • Experience working in a project-based environment is an asset
  • Experience working with the Canadian Department of National Defence (DND) and/or Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) is an asset
  • You are eligible for a Canadian Secret Security and ITAR Clearance
