Job descriptionWe're looking for a relationship-driven OEM Sales Specialist to help grow our Industrial Automation business.
In this role, you'll partner closely with machine builders and OEM customers, helping them solve complex challenges using innovative automation solutions. You'll act as a trusted advisor, building lasting relationships, identifying opportunities, and delivering value that helps both our customers and our business thrive. What will you do: * Build strong, authentic relationships with new and existing OEM customers, including key decision-makers and senior leaders * Grow our presence in Industrial Automation products such as PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and related technologies * Develop and execute strategic account and business plans to drive growth * Maintain a healthy sales pipeline using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) * Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, technical experts, and project management, to deliver customer solutions * Clearly communicate our value and align solutions to customer needs * Leverage global resources and expertise to support customer success and business expansion * Lead cross-functional efforts to ensure strong customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships This role could be a great fit if you: * Are a high energy, customer focused, technology driven, multitasking person able to lead and implement the adoption of the latest Automation technologies in Ontario. * Have a strong ability to understand complex requirements, able to clearly communicate client needs, challenge the client on solutions and close a deal. * Show strong initiative, are a self-starter and have developed a high level of organization skills. * Possess strong communication, interpersonal, collaboration skills, as well as negotiation and influencing skills in both internal organizations' and within client organizations. If you do not necessarily meet all the requirements that are listed, we still encourage you to apply for the position. * Bachelor's degree or technical college diploma in a relevant discipline or equivalent work experience * 5+ years of industrial automation sales experience preferably with OEMs * Deep understanding of strategic account management, customers, sales channels and third parties, with a demonstrated track record of growing business * Knowledge of machine builder market in diverse segments (Packaging, material handling/Logistic, material working, hoisting, HVAC ...) * Ability to travel up to 25%, mainly within Southwest Ontario What's in it for you: The compensation range for this full-time position, which includes base pay and short-term incentive, is $102,850-$145,200 for candidates who are Ontario residents.
Our salary ranges are determined by including roles of similar responsibility and level.
Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
