Java Full Stack Developer

Our challenge We are looking for a Java developer to join our team and help deliver key initiatives. The candidate should be a solid Java programmer, with strong design and implementation fundamentals. Prior experience in finance or legal operations will be useful, however, the ability and willingness to quickly master new technical and business concepts will be considered. The candidate will collaborate with an energetic team of highly intellectual and creative developers working on bleeding edge projects using a variety of different technologies. Additional Information* The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Calgary, Alberta is CAD $100k - CAD$110k/year & benefits (see below). Title: Java Full Stack Developer (Angular) Lovation: Calgary, Alberta Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain web applications using Java-based technologies and Angular framework. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. - Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices. - Integrate front-end components with server-side logic. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues to ensure optimal performance and user experience. - Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies. Requirements: - Proven experience as a Java Developer with Angular. - Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, and related frameworks. - Proficiency in Angular, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript. - Experience with RESTful APIs and web services. - Familiarity with database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB. - Understanding of version control systems like Git. - Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.). - Knowledge of DevOps practices. - Exposure to microservices architecture.
