Job description
The company, a national IT consulting company, is seeking a Full-Stack Developer to continue to build and enhance the digital services portfolio for a multi-year modernization initiative to enhance the delivery and management of housing programs. Responsibilities will include developing new features and maintaining existing solutions, with a focus on web-based portal development, Azure-based services, and integration with enterprise platforms, including Microsoft Dynamics 365.This is a remote role with possible onsite requirements for onboarding.Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications supporting digital services portfolio, including the Portal and integrations with the Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform.
  • Translate business, functional, and system requirements into technical designs, specifications, and working solutions.
  • Develop front-end applications using modern frameworks (e.g., React, TypeScript) and back-end services using .NET and Azure-based technologies.
  • Design and implement APIs and integrations to enable secure and reliable data exchange between enterprise systems and external partners.
  • Develop and maintain cloud-native components using Microsoft Azure services (e.g., Functions, Storage, managed databases).
  • Implement and support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment processes to enable efficient and reliable delivery.
  • Apply source control and code management practices, including branching strategies, pull requests, and peer reviews.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, including root cause analysis, performance tuning, and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver iterative, high-quality solutions, including participation in planning, estimation, and review activities.
  • Ensure solutions align with security, performance, scalability, and accessibility requirements, including appropriate access controls and data protection practices.
  • Support ongoing application maintenance, enhancements, and production operations, including monitoring and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to the evolution of digital services by identifying opportunities for improvement, modernization, and optimization across the application and integration landscape.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years demonstrated experience developing full stack applications within complex enterprise environments, preferably within government, public sector, or large scale organizations.
  • Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-based applications using Microsoft Azure, including platform-as-a-service (PaaS) services such as Azure Functions, Storage, Azure SQL, and/or Cosmos DB, and implementing event driven or serverless architectures.
  • Demonstrated experience developing modern web applications using .NET (back-end) and React/TypeScript (front-end).
  • Demonstrated experience designing and implementing APIs and system integrations, including integration with enterprise platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 or other CRM/case management systems.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps), source control using Git, and automated testing practices (unit, integration, and/or end-to-end).
  • Demonstrated experience working within Agile delivery teams, collaborating with cross functional resources to deliver user-facing digital services.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting and maintaining production applications, including troubleshooting, performance optimization, and continuous improvement, while applying secure development practices (authentication, authorization, and access control).
  • Microsoft Azure and/or Dynamics 365 certifications (e.g., Azure Developer Associate), or equivalent.
  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
