Job descriptionOn behalf of our Technology / Utilities Client, Ignite Technical Resources is recruiting for a Customer and Product Training Lead to join our Client's team on a Full-Time Permanent basis. This role is Hybrid (2 days in office per week in Burnaby, BC) with regular travel including one week per month to deliver on-site training to US customers. The Lead will define, develop, and deliver product training programs for internal teams and external customers, supporting product adoption and customer success. While the role currently has no direct reports, the successful candidate will eventually build and lead their own training team. Summary of the role: The Team Lead will oversee the creation and delivery of scalable product training programs. This includes developing eLearning content, conducting in-person workshops, managing curriculum, and aligning training with product releases. The role requires hands-on execution, operational leadership, and continuous improvement of training effectiveness. Duties & Responsibilities: - Develop and deliver eLearning programs and classroom training workshops for internal teams and external customers. - Manage training curriculum, ensuring alignment with product releases and program evaluation. - Define and improve operational training processes, including documentation and metrics. - Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Support, and Implementation teams to enhance product readiness. - Provide technical training in a clear and engaging manner to support product adoption and usage. - Future leadership: build and mentor a training team as programs expand. Core Requirements: - Minimum 5 years of experience in technical training program development and delivery. - Ability to develop and deliver both eLearning content and in-person training. - Experience managing end-to-end training programs, including curriculum design, delivery, and evaluation. - Technical proficiency to teach software products and platforms effectively. - Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Business Administration, or equivalent experience. Desired Skills & Experience: - Experience in the technology or utilities sectors is preferred. - Knowledge of adult learning principles and curriculum development frameworks. - Strong organizational, project management, and leadership skills. - Ability to work cross-functionally and adapt training materials to diverse audiences. - Experience in customer success, onboarding, or product enablement roles. Terms: This Full-Time Permanent role is based in Burnaby, BC with a hybrid schedule (2 days in office per week) and regular travel (~1 week per month to US customer sites). Company hardware will be provided, and travel, food, and accommodation expenses are covered by the employer.
