Applying strong business acumen, this role ensures all departments operate efficiently and cohesively to achieve organizational goals, maximize profitability, and ensure Element continues to deliver the highest quality products and services. The GM serves as a key decision-maker and leader for daily operations, growth, resources and company culture in alignment with the Executive’s strategic direction. Key Responsibilities: - Have end-to-end business oversight to ensure continued success of the company - Provide servant leadership guidance and mentorship across the organization - Identify, develop and implement business strategies aligned with company objectives - Identify growth opportunities, market trends, and potential risks - Set and maintain performance programs and monitor progress across departments - Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies - Company wide oversight including Operations, Technical, HR and close collaboration with Controller to ensure efficient achievement of corporate performance targets - Establish and/or ensure compliance to policies, procedures and standards - Optimize resource allocation and workflow processes - Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance in collaboration with the Controller - Analyze financial reports and implement cost-control measures - Train and develop department heads - Strategic succession planning to foster growth and develop talent - Foster a positive, high-performance work culture - Conduct performance evaluations and support employee development - Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders - Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service delivery - Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company standards - Represent the company in meetings, negotiations, and public events - Embody and promote the values of Element, acting as a brand ambassador for the organization - Any duties needed to help drive our Vision, Mission, and abide by our Organization’s Values Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field (MBA preferred) - Proven experience, 10 years, in a senior management or leadership role - Strong financial acumen and operational expertise - Excellent servant-leadership skills, communication, and decision-making skills - Ability to analyze data and drive strategic initiatives Work Location: Office based in Burlington, Ontario Compensation: Base salary of $110,000-$130,000 plus performance-based bonus
