Your new role As an Electrical Project Manager, you will lead commercial, industrial, and TI projects from award through completion. Working closely with clients, forepersons, and internal teams, you will be responsible for delivering projects on time, on budget, and to a high standard of quality, while maintaining strong client satisfaction. This is an office‑based role in Burnaby, with regular travel to project sites across the Lower Mainland. What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will have prior experience within the Vancouver electrical construction market, with a proven background managing commercial electrical projects. You will be trades qualified and confident coordinating schedules, budgets, teams, and documentation. Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software is required. What You’ll Be Doing - Develop and manage project schedules, resource plans, procurement, and risk mitigation - Oversee project delivery to ensure quality, safety, budget, and schedule targets are met - Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including drawings, schedules, testing, and budgets - Manage project billing, monthly reconciliations, and ongoing invoicing - Lead and support project teams and technical staff to ensure milestones are achieved - Proactively manage project risks and ensure compliance with safety regulations - Maintain strong client relationships and resolve issues as they arise - Develop and manage relationships with subcontractors and suppliers - Prepare change orders and cost estimates for assigned projects - Occasionally support estimating activities, including bids and quotations What you'll get in return - Competitive salary of $100,000 – $125,000+, depending on experience - Extended health and dental coverage - RRSP matching program - Casual dress environment - Stable role with a growing contractor and long‑term career opportunities What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
