Description
One of TEKsystems largest Professional Service client is looking for strong Data Centre Technicians to support various clients onsite, in their Data Centres.
Interested resources must be comfortable with traveling 80% of the engagement.
This is a long term contract opportunity.
Should have extensive experience supporting, building, maintaining, PowerEdge servers.
Must be comfortable triageing issues, and documenting.
Reequired Skills:
PowerEdge Server
Work at the direction of the DT Field Services Leader for the supported site.
provide troubleshooting, repair, parts ordering, preventative maintenance and installation of product located at Customer Site.
o Triage issues with direction from Vendor
o Execute plan of action from Domain Engineer
o Document POA Results, logs and service reports (Parts numbers/PPID of old/new parts replaced)
o Reseating parts, swap or replace parts
o Server Testing and validation (running diagnostics, capturing and uploading logs)
o Upgrading Firmware as needed
o Parts locker management, manage inbound and outbound parts
o Spare parts management, separate from parts locker
o Return of defective part or unused part back to Vendor Parts Return
