Job Title: Heavy Duty Equipment Technician
Location: Southern, BC
Base Rate: $ 62.50/hr.
OT: 4 hours daily paid out at $93.75/hr.
Schedule: 14X14 - 12-hour days
Night Shift Premium: $1.25/hr.
Accommodations: Company housing is provided at no additional cost
Flights Paid: Yes, fly into the location from any major airport in Canada
Tools Provided: Tools will be provided
Travel Time: Paid to and from the site daily and at each end of your set
Meal Allowance: $60 per day
About Us:
Big Country Equipment is a BC-based heavy equipment service and repair company that works with resource-based customers in the construction, forestry, mining, and oil and gas sectors in Western Canada. Big Country Equipment was formed in 2017. We have grown rapidly from a one-truck operation to over 100 employees and a fleet of over 30 fully equipped service trucks, serving customers throughout Western Canada 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
We are seeking self-starters who are career-minded, ready and willing to get the job done safely and positively, and able to work professionally with both coworkers and customers. This job is available in BC, and we have many other locations we are looking after across Canada. We primarily serve open-pit and underground mining and construction operations.
