We’re partnering with a well-established, unionized food manufacturing leader to hire an experienced Export Coordinator to support high-volume, regulated exports across North America and select international markets. This role is critical to keeping product moving across borders — where accuracy, compliance, and timing matter.

Export Coordinator – Role Details
- On-site - Monday to Friday
- Salary : $70,000 – $75,000 (based on experience)
- 5% annual bonus
- 3 weeks vacation

Export Coordinator – Key Responsibilities
Coordinate export shipments from order receipt through final deliveryManage daily export activity, processing 12-15 shipments per dayPrepare and review export documentation for food products shipping internationallyComplete CFIA export paperwork , certificates, and regulatory documentationCoordinate inspections and approvals with QA, warehouse, shipping, and CFIABook transportation and manage truck shipments ( approximately 90% truck freight )Prepare driver instructions, load documentation, and export packagesTrack shipments, monitor border crossings, and address issues proactivelyMaintain accurate export schedules and communicate changes internallyEnsure compliance with international trade, food safety, and export regulationsMaintain organized, audit-ready shipping and export recordsSupport internal teams and customers with shipment-related inquiriesAssist with continuous improvement of export and documentation processesExport Coordinator – Qualifications
4+ years of export coordination experience within food manufacturing or food productionDirect experience exporting food products is requiredProven international export experience ( U.S., Europe, New Zealand )Strong working knowledge of CFIA documentation and export processesDemonstrated ability to manage high-volume, deadline-driven workloadsExceptional attention to detail and accuracyStrong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skillsComfortable working in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environmentERP experience considered an asset (Microsoft Dynamics NAV or similar)Professional, dependable, and collaborative work style
