Adecco is currently hiring a full-time experienced
Assembler to join a growing manufacturing team in
Bowmanville, ON . In this role, you will be responsible for assembling fabricated components and sub-assemblies into finished products according to engineering drawings, electrical schematics, and quality standards.
This position requires
hands-on mechanical and electrical assembly experience , including wiring, electrical connections, and the ability to interpret technical documentation. It's a great opportunity for someone who enjoys precision work in a structured, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Pay Rate: $ 23.00/hour
- Location: Bowmanville, ON
- Shift: Afternoons - 4x10's must be available 24/5 (Incentive - Afternoon/Nights Premium 5% of hourly wage )

Responsibilities: Assembly & Production - Assemble fabricated metal components, sub-assemblies, and finished products according to build instructions, drawings, and schematics
- Perform electrical assembly tasks, including:
- Routing and securing wiring and cables
- Stripping, crimping, and terminating wires (soldering when required)
- Installing electrical components such as sensors, switches, control panels, junction boxes, and motors
- Safely and accurately use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments
- Ensure all assemblies meet quality, safety, and electrical standards
Electrical & Technical Work - Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings
- Verify electrical connections for accuracy, continuity, and grounding
- Assist with basic electrical troubleshooting during assembly
- Follow lockout/tagout procedures and electrical safety requirements
Quality & Safety - Inspect completed assemblies for defects or deviations
- Identify and report non-conforming materials or workmanship
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation
- Follow all company safety policies and PPE requirements
Teamwork & Continuous Improvement - Work closely with welders, painters, CNC operators, and engineering teams
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts related to efficiency and quality
- Meet production schedules and productivity targets
Qualifications and Skills: - Electrical or electromechanical training (college, trade school, or equivalent experience)
- Experience in:
- Fabrication or heavy manufacturing
- Panel wiring or machine wiring
- Industrial equipment assembly
- Familiarity with CSA / UL standards
- Basic testing and troubleshooting skills (multimeter use)
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Manual dexterity for fine motor electrical assembly tasks
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
- Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
