JD Edwards Techno Functional specialist

In this role, as a JD Edwards Techno-Functional Specialist , you will spearhead requirement gathering and validation, design, develop, test, and implement custom-tailored software solutions.

Collaborating closely with internal users, the user experience team, and the digital team, you will ensure alignment with organizational objectives.

Under the guidance of the Application & Architecture Manager, the JD Edwards Techno-Functional Specialist holds a central role within the organization.

We're looking for someone with experience in the supply chain or distribution industry who is driven by a passion for improving ERP system processes and who can identify opportunities for improvement.

Rooted in in-depth functional and technical expertise, combined with extensive development and integration skills, you'll have a role that serves as a cornerstone for optimizing operations processes.

What are the requirements needed in order to have success in this role? :

• Bachelor s degree in Computer science, Software, Computer Engineering, or related fields
• Extensive understanding of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, particularly in the distribution modules.
• Minimum of 5+ years of direct configuration, design, customization, integration, development, and administration of JD Edwards applications.
• Minimum of 2 years in JD Edwards orchestration with AIS services, and / or JDE BSSV / RTE integration
• Proven experience working in the distribution industry and / or Supply Chain. Working in a manufacturing environment would be considered as an asset
• Deep comprehension of distribution business processes and workflows is necessary
• Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools (Agile and Scrum are preferred)
• Proficiency in SQL, database design, Data Access Studio, and requirement gathering / validation
• Demonstrated team collaboration and understanding of SDLC development life cycles
• Strong knowledge of JD Edwards system development and functional aspects, with some understanding of security management
• Experience in software quality assurance and excellent analytical, communication, and decision-making skills
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and capability to diagnose complex issues
• Experience and ability to have critical and meaningful discussions to influence business decision
• Strong leadership, charisma, and mentoring experience
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy
• Customer-centric mindset to prioritize customer satisfaction and deliver results.

Position will be a combination of Solutions Development and Process Enhancement, Integrated ERP Solutions and Team improvement a as well as Strategic Collaboration and roadmap.
