Safran Landing Systems is a subsidiary of Safran Landing Systems, a global leader in landing and braking systems for aircraft. The Mirabel plant is dedicated to manufacturing major components of landing gear for Airbus A320, A330, and A350 models, as well as the Boeing 787. It features state-of-the-art equipment for machining, polishing, and special processes, including heat treatment, shot peening, and surface treatments.
Your missions:
• Ensure the conformity of parts by inspecting them using high-precision coordinate measuring machine (CMM) equipment:
• Move parts using lifting devices
• Install the part on a mounting fixture and prepare it by installing tooling, according to the technical procedure
• Clean the probe and the part
• Select the validated program according to the established sampling plan
• Verify that inspection results are valid and available for analysis
• If necessary, perform the required checks and initiate a second inspection
• If necessary, initiate the calibration program
• Perform daily production follow-up and organize inspections based on priorities.
• Conduct manual inspections (dimensional and visual).
• Conduct inspections using a scanner (scan)
• Complete the appropriate Quality Assurance documentation
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of operations and the achievement of objectives in terms of safety, quality, costs, and on-time deliveries
Let's talk about you Requirements:
• High School Diploma (equivalencies not accepted)
• Minimum of one year of work experience in a factory or in dimensional and visual inspection
• Experience with automated equipment
• Basic computer knowledge
• Rigor
• Attention to detail
• Sense of organization and priorities
• Autonomy
Assets:
• Ability to read, interpret, and analyze mechanical drawings
• Ability to use measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
• Knowledge of basic machining principles and other manufacturing areas

Note: Depending on the collective agreement rules, the position may change shifts (day, night, or weekend)
• The salary for this position starts between $26.91 and $36.59 per hour, depending on your skills, experience, and qualifications. With internal training and your progression in acquiring job-related skills, the hourly wage will increase up to a maximum of $40.62.
