The Journeyman Carpenter is responsible for constructing and maintaining buildings.
Required knowledge includes: construction and remodeling trades practices procedures techniques tools and equipment materials specifications quality control cost control and safety.
The Journeyman Carpenter must be proficient at the following tasks: hanging doors drilling and setting door hardware setting windows layout for stairs and common rafters formwork and reading blueprints. The carpenter must also possess the mathematical and analytical skills necessary to do materials estimates.
