About the Position
- We are searching for a permanent Senior Treasury Analyst to join our Finance team.
- The starting salary will be determined based on a combination of skills, education, and experience. The salary range is $80,000 – $100,000 per year.

Key Ways This Position Makes An Impact
The Senior Treasury Analyst will independently exercise professional judgment and discretion in providing enterprise‑wide treasury, investment, liquidity, and cash flow strategy for PBC and its subsidiaries.
In this role, you will operate at a strategic and advisory level and be accountable for complex financial analysis, scenario modelling, and investment recommendations that directly influence organizational risk, capital allocation, and long‑term financial sustainability.
The Senior Treasury Analyst provides expert financial analysis and recommendations that materially influence enterprise‑wide treasury and investment decisions.
You will provide forward‑looking insight and recommendations on complex portfolios, foreign currency exposure, tax structures, and long‑range cash flow planning, requiring the application of advanced financial expertise, judgment, and interpretation rather than the execution of prescribed processes.
In this role, you will evaluate PBC’s investment portfolio performance and recommend strategies that optimize returns within acceptable risk parameters.
You will interpret complex corporate tax rules, GST/HST requirements, and other regulatory obligations, ensuring compliance across PBC.
In this role, you will partner with FP&A, Finance, Tax, and senior leadership on enterprise‑wide capital planning and long‑term financial sustainability.
Key Experiences You Bring To This Role
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in Treasury, Investments, or Corporate Finance within multi‑entity or complex environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, and treasury operations.
- Proven experience in investment analysis, portfolio management, and evaluating risk/return tradeoffs (equities, fixed income, private markets, and alternatives).
- Demonstrated ability to exercise independent professional judgment in complex, high‑impact financial decision‑making environments.
- Strong understanding of foreign currency exposure, derivatives, and hedging strategies.
- Professional designation: CFA (preferred), or CFA Level III Candidate; OR CPA with significant treasury experience; OR CTP designation may be considered.
- Advanced analytical and financial modelling capabilities, including proficiency in Excel (Power Query, VBA, Macros), SQL, and data visualization tools such as Power BI.
- Experience with valuation, financial statement analysis, and capital allocation decision‑making.
