Pay Rate: $18.15 per hour
Shifts: 07:00PM - 07:00AM | Sunday to Saturday | Continental Shift
We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Security Professional - Gathouse (Continental Shift) to join our team at a warehouse facility in Brampton, ON. This position plays a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for staff, visitors, and property. The ideal candidate will be observant, proactive, and professional with a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to manage activity throughout a large site.
RESPONSIBILITIES:Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols of the warehouse facility to ensure security and identify any suspicious activity or safety hazards.
Monitor access points and ensure only authorized personnel, vehicles, and deliveries are allowed into the premises.
Oversee and manage the flow of vehicular and pedestrian traffic on-site to ensure safe and efficient movement throughout the facility.
Monitor security systems such as CCTV cameras and alarm systems for irregular activity. Report and respond to any issues as necessary.
Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies, alarms, or other incidents including accidents, trespassing, or disturbances.
Accurately document any incidents, security breaches, or safety hazards and communicate with supervisors and other team members as required.
Maintain a strong security presence to deter unauthorized access and promote a safe environment.
1-2 years of security experience ; warehouse or industrial site experience is an asset.
Must have a valid Ontario Security License.
Must be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) or relevant work experience.
Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours a week.
Valid First Aid and CPR certification.
