We are seeking a Solutions Architecture Consultant to deliver solutions in a large enterprise environment.
The Solutions Architect plays a vital role in shaping the technology landscape within the Enterprise Architecture team. This individual will lead the design and analysis of technology solutions to business problems, as well as provide strategic advice to stakeholders on technology related matters. This role will facilitate and collaborate with all areas within IT and key business partners to ensure that solutions satisfy desired business outcomes that align with the business strategy.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
The Solutions Architect will require a deep knowledge and understanding of how the many components of systems work together to create a functioning ecosystem. The Solutions Architect will be a guiding force on the team as they create and document platform, application and technology standards and roadmaps for the team:
. Facilitate and Collaborates to Deliver Business Outcomes within the Corporate Ecosystem
. Translate business strategy into solution architecture
. Lead Solutions Architecture, Design and Analysis
. Design technology agnostic data integrations, automations, and application interfaces/contracts
. Perform impact analysis for architecture changes
. Prepare required solution architecture artifacts
. Align solutions to enterprise architecture framework
. Participate in solution assessment and technology selection
. Develop application design strategies, and roadmaps
. Monitor solution development and provide mentorship
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
. Experience developing solution architecture for large-scale implementation projects
. In-depth knowledge of enterprise architecture disciplines such as business, application, data, cloud and security
. In-depth knowledge of application development technologies and frameworks including web development, client server, multi-tier, database and middleware
. Understanding and knowledge of system development life cycle methodologies (such as waterfall, spiral, agile software development, rapid prototyping, incremental, synchronize and stabilize, and DevOps)
. Knowledge and understanding of modeling languages (such as UML and ArchiMate)
. Experience with Cloud computing architectures for Azure, AWS, etc.
. High interest in emerging technologies like AI / ML / RPA
. Understanding of high-level disaster recovery framework planning, design and implementation
. Knowledge of IT standards and controls
. Experience with IT service management (ITSM) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
. Experience proposing and estimating the financial impact of solution architecture alternatives

Education Requirements:
. Degree in computer science or related technology focused discipline and 5 years of experience, including 2 years leading projects and/or supervising others.

The determination of this range includes various factors including but not limited to skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications.
